Bella had faced many hardships, including the tragic loss of her mother and the challenges of living in kinship care. With her 18th birthday on the horizon, she hoped to leave behind past hardships and negative choices and move towards a brighter future.
But Bella felt uncertain about her future. She was seeking safety, belonging and guidance on her new path.
Our Approach: Nurturing Growth through Responsibility and Personal Empowerment
When Bella came to us, we focused on creating stability, structure, and safety for her. To help build her resilience, we provided opportunities to engage in paid work and introduced her to animal care, giving her a sense of value and responsibility.
Support workers also worked alongside Bella to help her recognise her self-worth and understand how to protect herself in unsafe situations. We approached each day with fresh optimism, leaving the challenges of the past behind and focusing on growth and progress.
Empowered and Thriving: Bella’s Path to Personal Growth and Employment
We are so proud to have seen Bella achieve incredible progress. We helped her build a nurturing support network and secure meaningful employment at Jordy’s Place, where she’s developed valuable life skills.
At first, Bella found it hard to engage with our services, but through consistent support, she now actively participates six days a week. We’ve watched her grow personally and feel empowered to continue on her positive path toward independence and self-confidence.
This outcome reflects everything we stand for at Trilogy. By offering personalised support and helping individuals like Bella find their strength, we’re proud to see them navigate challenges and create brighter futures full of potential and growth.

In Bella’s Words
“I’d like to introduce myself and share part of my journey with you, in hope that by sharing my story, I can inspire you to reach out and make positive changes in your own life, just as Trilogy Disability Foundation has helped transform mine.
My name is Bella, and I am a 17-year old reusing on the Central coast with my Nan and Pop following the tragic loss of my Mum five years ago. I have experienced various hardships and trauma, combined with the impact of that loss, lead me down a challenging path. I found myself making negative choices, which resulted in trouble with the criminal justice system and time in military camp. Unfortunately, these experiences did not bring the change I needed.
Five months ago I began with Trilogy Disability Foundation, and this decision has been pivotal in my life. Through their support, I have achieved numerous positive outcomes that I am incredibly proud of, and so much more to come. Trilogy have provided me with a nurturing support network and has helped me to gain meaningful employment through Jordy’s Place, where I am involved in their farm program. Additionally, I have learned valuable life skills and developed a routine that brings structure to my days.
Initially, I struggled to engage with support services however I am now actively participating in six-day-a-week support which has been a significant change for me. This consistency has led to substantial personal growth and development helping create a routine that supports my ongoing progress.
I am extremely grateful for my experience, and strongly encourage anyone who may be facing their own challenges to consider reaching out for help and pursuing a path of personal growth.”
