What is Respite Accommodation?
Our respite accommodation provides short-term stays where young people can relax, engage in activities, and explore new experiences. Accessible through the NDIS and other funding, our service offers young people a new experience in a supportive environment, while giving families the opportunity to recharge and reconnect.
Who is it for?
Our respite accommodation services are designed for young people under 25, with support available through the NDIS, the Occupation Children’s Guardian, and the Department of Communities and Justice.
We also offer limited scholarships and funding options for at-risk youth who may not meet these criteria but are in need of support. Please reach out to discuss eligibility or special circumstances.

Who is eligible for respite accommodation services?
Our respite services are available to young people under 25 who qualify through the NDIS, the Department of Communities and Justice, or the Occupation Children’s Guardian.
What activities will my young person participate in?
We tailor activities to each individual’s interests, offering opportunities for social connection, skill-building, and fun in a supportive environment. Activities can include animal care, sport, and arts and crafts.
How long can a young person stay in respite accommodation?
Respite stays are short-term and flexible, designed to meet both the young person’s and family’s needs. Length of stay can be discussed and tailored.
What safety measures are in place?
Our staff are trained in Trauma-Informed Care, Mental Health First Aid, and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention. Each location is designed to prioritise safety, comfort, and well-being.
Is financial support available for families?
Respite services are accessible through NDIS and other government funding. For those without access to these, limited scholarships may be available for at-risk youth.
